06.24.08Origami Fake Out!Originally, I thought it was a series of origami tessellations. But when I checked out designer Thomas Antonietti's Web site and saw his process, it's so not origami. He starts out with a wood-like base positioned in horizontal and vertical lines, similiar to a checker board. Then he lays out a substance which produces origami-based folds.
